Ambassador Debora Lepre, Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in Vienna, joined today the “International Gender Champions“, a network that brings together 330 personalities determined to break down gender barriers. Gender Champions are high level officers who are the heads of UN Agencies, Civil Society Organizations and the Permanent Missions in Geneva, The Hague, Nairobi, New York, Paris and Vienna.
The Ambassador, formerly among the founders of the Italian Women Diplomats Association, is a strong advocate for gender equality and “women empowerment.”
