Yesterday, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) held the event “Who Pays? For the Implementation of Sustainability-Driven Regulations”, during which Ambassador Debora Lepre presented the new multi-country project that Italy will implement with UNIDO in the coffee sector in Africa.
The initiative is included in the Mattei Plan for Africa and focuses on increasing the value and quality of coffee, by establishing more sustainable and resilient supply chains, through public-private partnerships and the involvement of Italian leading companies in the coffee sector.
