Italian diplomacy confirms its commitment to the VII session of the Conference of Parties to the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC)

The seventh session of the Conference of Parties concluded with the adoption by consensus of the resolution proposed by Italy, along with co-sponsors Austria, France and Mexico, on the review of the implementation of the Palermo Convention and its three additional Protocols. In the last year efforts by Italy, in its role as facilitator in the negotiations, reached remarkable results even beyond the expectations at the eve of the Conference were not expected.
