UNODA – OSCE Scholarship for Peace

The OSCE Scholarship for Peace, a joint initiative of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and of the United Nation Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) is starting in December 2017.

The initiative offers training programmes providing foundation skills and knowledge on conflict prevention and resolution through arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation with a specific focus on OSCE relevant instruments.

A total of 70 scholarships are available for young professionals, in particular women, from OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation. Participants will obtain a certificate from the UN mandated University for Peace (UPEACE) and may apply for a Diploma with University credits.

Eligible candidates are requested to apply for scholarships directly on the website of the “Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Education Partnership” at www.dnpeducation.org before 16 November.
