Ambassador Debora Lepre has presented yesterday her credentials to the Director-General, Rafael Mariano Grossi, as Permanent Representative of Italy to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Nuclear non-proliferation, safety and security were highlighted during the meeting among the priorities of Italy’s engagement within the IAEA. The fruitful collaboration with the Agency and future initiatives were discussed, confirming the Italian commitment to peace and sustainable development, upholding the principles of international law.
