UNOV - United Nations Office at Vienna


The United Nations Office at Vienna is a detached office of the United Nations Secretariat in New York and it includes the following organizations: UNODC (United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime), COPUOS (Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space) and its Secretariat (OOSA, Office for Outer Space Affairs), INCB (International Narcotics Control Board), UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law), UNROD (United Nations Register of Damage Caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory) and UNSCEAR (United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation).
The Director General of UNOV is Ms. Ghada Waly of Egypt, who took office on 1 February 2020. Ms. Ghada Waly, who is also Executive Director of UNODC, holds the rank of Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations.
